Technical V Man... someone could remember Jim Morrison on his birthday... and think "This is what started it all... if he was never born..." but I agree w/ you... I would rather remember someone on the day that they died! Thanks for the answer! ;D

Defently John Lennon, and Jim. Jim was cool, but John's story was sad.
I'll be wishing Jim a happy birthday, and be mourning for John. :(

Actually in my house we'll be remembering Lennon and Dimebag Darrell Abbott both murdered on Dec 8. Guess I'll toss in some Morrison as well.

I shall dedicate the morning to Jim and the afternoon to John. They are both worthy of my time because they were such great composers/lyricists/vocalists...or what have you.
I read something a couple of years ago that said John never wanted to be a martyr, and look what happened.

yep. next year i plan on going to NYC and visiting strawberry fields. I love that someone always stops by there everyday to leave flowers.
