I'm looking into new forms of birth control and I have been reading about these. I have been on Depo for a while now so I want a change. I know they are basically the same thing but I want to hear what everyone on here thinks about them.
Please give me your opinions.

I'd say that the tried and true method that I prefer is the pill. I've heard horror stories about norplant-- in particular about when it comes time to remove them. Your tissue can grow around the implant, scar, and leave a huge scar once they are taken out.

I had norplant - but had it removed after only 2 years. I had too many medical problems caused by it. I had no period and gained 60 pounds. It was miserable.
