How much would it cost? What am I up against? I just don't feel right because I hear a lot of negative things from girls. I mean I've had sex and all but I want to be cut instead.

What do girls tell you? Why would you go through surgery because of this??? If they told you your nose was big would you go get a nosejob?

I would strongly advise you not to do it. Your penis won't be the same and it's a totally unnecessary procedure.

Most of the people answering this question don't actually know what they're talking about. I on the other hand was circumcised at almost the same age and can promise you that it is absolutely worth it. Don't let the pain factor dissuade you because you'll be doped up with anesthesia for the procedure (won't feel a thing) and will be given pain meds for after the procedure. You do have to wait on sex for about a month, but it is an absolute myth that you lose sensation. Sexual activity feels SO much better without a foreskin because you are always directly stimulating the glans. Finally, it is definitely easier to clean and has definite health benefits associated with it. I say talk to a doctor and arrange a date to do it. You won't be sorry.

Crazy guy, you'd be surprised how many women out there actually love an intact penis. Being cut is not worth it. If you want the look, just retract your foreskin before your partner sees your penis. A circumcision takes away a great deal of your nerves in your penis, those located in the foreskin, and your exposed head will lose sensitivity from rubbing on your undies or pants all the time. The health concerns for circumcision are almost useless. Some claim it helps prevent contraction of AIDS and HIV, but there is high probability that if you have sex with someone carrying these diseases, a lack of foreskin isn't going to stop it. As for cleanliness, most cut guys and a great deal of girls who idolize cut guys can't seem to grasp the idea of proper hygiene. Most all always say that cut is better because you don't have to take time to clean your foreskin, which in reality is something easily done while you shower. Just slide it back, run some water over the head, wash off the smegma, use some soap if need be, and boom! you're done. That simple. It certainly takes a shorter amount of time than it does to wash your hair, and plus, you can go straight from cleaning to masturbating. It's totally alright to feel insecure about your penis, and a lot of uncut guys feel this way. I'm uncut as well, and here's what I have come to realize. I have come to realize that we are different than those cut guys, we get more pleasure out of sex and masturbation. We also are 100% man, since we didn't have a bit of our penises cut off. Be proud that you are intact, and if a girl cannot accept this, you should leave her be, because your foreskin will not be the only thing she'll be comparing to her past lovers. If you would like to talk more, please drop me a line.

So your justification for this is that you 'hear negative things from girls'....? Jeez, the girls round your way must be obnoxious, shallow sluts!
Your parents made a good decision by not chopping off part of your genitals when you were a baby, the least you can do is respect their correct decision by keeping your penis naturally intact.
When you actually find a girl who likes you for who you are, she wont care that youre uncut. In the meantime just maintain a good personal hygiene in the area and leave it as it is.
Oh, and it would cost big bucks and its a painful and irreversible procedure. I certainly wouldnt have it done just because of things I've overheard...

Read up a lot about it before you make such an important decision based on "some negative things from girls". The comments from girls only apply in the USA where they are used to circumcised, and only stupid shallow girls who have no proper experience with an intact penis. My boyfriend is uncircumcised and there is no problem - he has never considered it at all. Then again we are in Australia so he is in the majority for our age group. You should look up all the risks and disadvantages of circumcision, like loss of sensitivity. Does your foreskin give you any nice feelings at all? If so then I really don't recommend it.

The cost depends on your health insurance, but it could cost several hundred dollars out-of-pocket. I don't know what you mean by "What am I up against?" but don't take the comments from girls to heart. In fact, most (70-80%) of the world's men are uncircumcised. And most women don't care really as long as it's clean.

And if you're not having any physical/medical problems with your foreskin, it's probably not a good idea to get circumcised because you've heard a few negative things from some girls. Some people tend to be really shallow. And in the US, more and more guys are uncircumcised, so in a few years who knows, maybe even those girls won't be making negative comments anymore.

In any case, the foreskin can be a good thing to have, for both you and your partner (see links). So don't get rid of it unless you really really have to, in my opinion.

You should NOT get circumcised. Circumcision GREATLY reduces both YOUR pleasure AND HERS. Girls that have no experience and just go on rumor don't like it uncut. But once they realize that it isn't "dirty" or some such thing, and they get a LOT more pleasure from the foreskin, they will like it better they way you are. Just make sure that you pull the foreskin back and wash it with soap and water every day.

That's really obnoxious. Maybe rather than getting circumcised, you should choose your sexual partners more carefully? Or teach your woman how to deal with a foreskin -- maybe it's just a case of fear of the unknown. She might have fun playing with it, once it's demystified. You know, circumcision rates have been plummeting. Almost half of American boys are uncircumcised now.

It's true that there advantages to being circumcised, but they are pretty much balanced out by disadvantages. Especially since you are an adult and perfectly capable of handling the extra hygiene. Circumcision is a very painful and traumatic process in adults, and I would only recommend it in cases of religious conversion. I have also read that circumcision reduces sexual sensitivity in the male -- I wouldn't know, 37 years ago virtually all boys were circumcised.

If you're determined, you can ask your doctor, but I would guess your doctor will say much the same thing as me. If you still want to go ahead with it, most likely your doctor will refer you to a plastic surgeon or urologist, and it will cost hundreds of dollars not covered by health insurance.

You would need to see your doctor, the cost will depend on your insurance plan, and it may or may not be covered. I've heard the surgery isn't really the bad pain-wise for adults. However, I would urge you to think VERY carefully about this decision- you will lose sensitivity, you may find a need to change your masturbation technique, and circ can actually CAUSE serious issues with your penis. Any girl who won't sleep with you because of your penis is either shallow or lying. The right girl for you will love ALL of you, intact or otherwise. And yes, its true, alot of women actually prefer intact men. I actually feel cheated because so many men my age ARE circumcised. But I never judge a man by his penis, and any girl who does isn't really worth your time. -Neb

Find a Urologist that does teen and adult circumcisions! I was circumcised at 18 and would do it again tomorrow! Don't believe all the lies you will read from the anti's as they are mostly uncut guys feeling inferior! Sex is 100% better cut! I was done 10yrs ago and it was $400, but it was done in office so no hospital expense! Everything came out great! It was done high and tight and am very happy with the outcome! When my son's were born I had no doubt they were being done! If you have more questions shoot me an e-mail!

Do you mean you want to be circumcised because girls like it?

If so, not true. Apparently (I don't remember the source, sorry). Girls like the LOOK of a circumcised penis, but uncircumcised penises feel better during sex. Just thought you'd like to know.
