I do. And i find nothing wrong about it either though some people may call it stupid it is the exact oppsite. It's good to express yourself no matter how you do it (if its not bad or anything though). Poems are great weather you make them ryhme or not it is a very good and healthy way to get your feelings out. I wrote this peom when i was going threw a really hard time, "Like a dull pancile i have no point in life." And after i wrote i felt alot better and you know what now i have tons of goals. Poetry is great keep writing =0!

Yes here is a glimse of my poetry..
Blank page in white
By C.Melgar
This is the story
It was impossible trying to take out my memory
From my head
It has been a long time since you left
Saying goodbye was sad
Hoping your flight is safe
I never want to lose you
I went back to my town
And they told me you got married
I wonder if you forgot me
But I know that the moon you loved
Me even if I never loved you
Even if our dreams can not be true
Fly fly white sheet
In the air
Is so sad to tell you to forget me
And other love has come to my life
Is to late
My words won’t be enough
To make you see that I will be happy
I will remember the nights that
Love of so much you cried for me
To love you and something I can’t do
To love you
I recived your letter
But it was to late
How can you ask
If I love you
I have never loved you
Even if our dreams our the same
Fly fly blank white sheet
Fly fly with your new life
And forget me

Hi Yvonne, there was a similar question asked recently. I have to say I'm a bit selfish. I write to please myself. When I'm satisfied that I have written something which I believe is reasonable, then I like to share it with others in the hope that they may also benefit from it. I don't write to heal others, although I have written to purge myself with baggage that I have accumulated in my life so far. I also like to write material which can be understood. I don't believe in writing stuff which no one can decipher. I've seen quite a lot on this site like that recently - it makes it hard for the reader

You're not alone I do its a good way of clearing my head to put it down on paper and sometimes its easier to express how I feel too.

Not poetry, just a journal/memoir.
I guess the only difference is it doesn't rhyme.

I believe it's a very healthy way to express yourself. I do it in my spare time.

if I had an inspiration, inside my mind suddenly flows the idea or conceptualizing the constructive words that will give the meaningful of it
