Just wondering. Lol. This is not meant to be racist or mean; I was just thinking that I know people from several different races who belong to other religions, but I've never met a black Jew. I have NOTHING against them. =]

Why do you feel the need to point out that you have nothing against them? Some people would detect racial undertones from that statement.....But anyway, I've met one, a British Black Jew that is. I think they're a bit thin on the ground though...Somebody told me years ago that Lenny Kravitz was a black jew, but I cant prove that, so don't sue me.....Oh, and happy birthday.

Yes, I have. Years ago, I met a very nice lady in the course of doing my job, and found out through talking with her that she was Jewish. It is unusual to see, but not unheard of. Sammy Davis Jr. converted to Judaism, and discussed it, in his autobiography, 'Yes I Can'.

Met, no. But that's what Sammy Davis, Jr. professed to be--maybe he was before your time but he was part of the old "rat pack" and that was sort of a running joke back in the day.

Yes I actually have. In Israel. if you go by the ocean at night times in the summer, you are able to practically see everyone there. there is africa-americans. ive never seen here in america but in israel ive seen a lot. :) and dont worry. youre not being racist.

there are some Jewish people that i know that have adopted babies and are raising them Jewish.
there are many Ethiopian Jews in this country that are Black, too.
