Why would a teacher touch a student's hair to see how much gel was put in it??
If you feel uncomfortable because this happened, it should be brought to the school's attention.

If the kid is breaking a rule by wearing a banned hair product, for example, which is what I believe you may be saying; then the Teacher should point this out but not touch. There is such a thing as appropriate touch, a comforting arm around the shoulder when a kid is upset for instance, equally there is inappropriate touch, such as smacking or worse touching intimate parts of a child. This incident was perhaps badly judged but I would be wary of making a full blown complaint, it is fine to say, at the time, politely, "Please do not touch my hair" or "Please do not touch me I don't like it". If you didn't give such a statement then complaining would be difficult. If the complaint is implying some kind of sexual intent you could get into a huge forray, unless you definitely feel this was the intent. In retrospect you could ask the Head to ask the Teacher concerned not to do it again or discuss it with a Parent/ School Counsellor and ask them to deal with it for you.

Something is wrong with this story - your vagina is nowhere near where a t-shirt would be, so unless you had the t-shirt lining the bottom of your panties, you either don't know what a vagina is, or you are exaggerating. Teachers can't fondle you or hug or kiss you inappropriately, but there is no law generally stating that teachers can't touch you in any way. Most teachers avoid touching students for fear of accusations of molestation, but it sounds like any touching here was coincidental to touching the clothing you weren't supposed to have had on. It would be as if you handed in a paper and touched her wrist in the process. It sounds to me like you may be at a private school with a rather stringent dress code. In that case, teachers are often charged with enforcing the dress code. Yelling at you for 5 minutes seems a little over the top, unless you have generally been a trouble-maker, but no, there is no law against touching you in this way.

Not to be rude, but get over it.
Officially, by law, I believe teachers don't have the right to touch a pupil unless they are restraining them from hurting their self or another person.
But unless they are trying to harm you, there's really no point complaining, you're only causing pointless problems for the teacher when they really did nothing wrong, and let's not forget, if you complain there would be a lot of hassle for you too.
Touching your hair with gel in it is nothing, the teacher wasn't trying to harm you, I've seen several occasions in school when someone (including me) has got a new gelled hair style and other people, sometimes including the teacher, touch it to see what its like, just out of plain curiosity.
But does anyone complain? No, of course not, because the teacher meant no harm by it.

If he Just touched your hair thats not concidered doing anything wrong, Teachers have the right to tell a pupil that they have too much gel in their hair and make them do something about it, it happened to a girl i was at school with.
But however if the teacher say touched your leg or butt then that is very wrong and should be reported to the head teacher and the police.

That wouldn't get a teacher fired or even disciplined.. But I would let the teacher know that you'd rather not be touched.. I'm a teacher and never touch a kid in any way, just to be safe.. (maybe a high five every now and then) But there are teachers who aren't as careful..
Anyone touching someone else without their permission is out of line..

christ. a teacher touching a pupils hair i personally dont think its a big deal. i would suggest to the pupil that he or she should talk to this teacher and not go to the head as it seems like a minor thing, the teacher should know if the pupil would be comfortable with this, if it happpened to me i wouldnt mind but i know some people who wouldnt be very happy

Well it depends on what the headmasters rules are, in some schools teachers may touch students....if it be act of punishment or just a touch...if the headmasters rules say they can then yes they can........but the law states that no one under 18 can be touch at all by any one older that 18, if the older person is not a legal guardian of the younger one and if the younger does not touch the older person first or act in a threaten way first!!

It is not the teacher's business to check how much gel is in a person's hair. A teacher who touches a student except in an emergency situation is just asking for trouble.

A bit dramatic !! If your not happy ask to speak to the teacher and explain you'd rather they didnt do it again - dont make a big song and dance about it - if however it happens again then you could go higher but just think is it so much of a deal,
Not sure how old you are but the kids in my (Infants) class like staff to feel their spiky hair, they find it funny, but its done in a friendly, non threatening manner. If a child didnt like contact we obviously wouldnt.
