they are not arrested while they are being served is that legal? I mean the guy being served was served by a policeman but yet he did not arrest the guy..what gives? This guy should be locked up for threatening to kill someone but yet he is still walking around free as a bird.

There was an active warrant for his arrest. We were told he would be arrested on charges of threatening to shoot someone. & served his copy of the restraining order both.

Do you know for sure there is an active warrant for the person? if he already appeared in court the warrant may not be still active. A pending charge is not a warrant.

If there is an active warrant, is it active in the police officers jurisdiction? The officer may not be able to see the warrant.

Did the officer know of the warrant?

The policeman could be charge with neglect of duty or harboring criminals. Report the said policeman to his boss.
