from wednesday's games last night, who do u think had a better performance:
Patrik Elias vs Boston: 2 Goals, 1 Assist - 3 points
Sidney Crosby vs Edmonton: 0 Goals, 3 Assists - 3 Points
im asking this because i was really surprised in their 3 stars selection, elias wasnt even there but crosby was 2nd star! is he that overrated?

and please be honest dont be biased because u love crosby, elias scored the ot winner for 3 points crosby got 3 helpers in which 2 of them were 2nd assists or maybe one!

im not asking about who will be the better player this year, im asking who had a better performance last night, dumba-ss! some hockey fans really are idiots!

It was definatly Elias cause he came through in the most important time. Getting the devs on the board being down 3-0 and scoring the game winning OT goal. The reason he wasn't on the three-stars was cause he was outshined by Zach Parise who had a four point game, with two goals and two assists and made a really good play to help Elias score the OT goal. And the only reason Sidney Crosby is on there instead of Elias, is because he's Sidney Crosby.

Unfortunaely I did not get to see the oilers game but the answer is in the stats for last night. Elias had a great game, all over the ice etc, (I don't want to start w/ the cliche's so I'll shut up here)

Crosby is an over rated little freak who needs help. "The next gretzky" ya right. I know that Elias had the more important goal, but those who chose the 3 stars are "crosby lovers"
Dont worry, we all have to deal with that guy taking over the spotlight

Who really cares? Who even decides on the stars of the evening? Elias has 15 points. Crosby has 40 points. No, he is rated accordingly. Perhaps Elias had a better game for one night but once again, does anyone really care? It is not like there is a bonus associated with it or anything.
It is so irrelevant that I didn't even know they had 3 stars for the night. Elias was the 1st star in his game, Crosby the 1st star in his. I knew they had 3 stars of the week and the month (which is new in itself) but for each night, seems like overkill anyways.

Why is this an issue?
I'm sure Elias doesn't care.
Having seen both games..........Crosby played a lot better game than Elias

Sid the kid even though no goals last night hes is still going to have a ton of goals and assists by the end of the year
