MY favorite 'gift' was (and is!) the PEACE and QUIET of having MY HOME to myself -- no Toxic People around me, not having to be FORCED to 'entertain' nasty others ... just me in MY HOME and enjoying sleeping in, relaxing, and the fact that NO ONE is doing anything to harm me or mistreat me or in any other way treat me as LESS than human in the HOME that MY INCOME paid for.
(In other words -- although my ex-spouse (from a short disaster of a marriage to an abusive, violent sociopath) had the willing help of my adult child to BURGLARIZE my HOME once again in August 2006 -- I DID Suffer an Extreme LOSS (financially and trustwise) ... but ... in its own way -- it was also a BLESSING -- for I am THRILLED to pay (with my property) for the LIFE that I HAVE now ... and the fact that I don't have to WORRY any longer in MY OWN HOME about whether or not some one is going to harm me at all. THAT is the best GIFT I could EVER have asked for ...)
UNTIL ...
This summer .. when I met a Kind, Gentle, Caring and Loving REAL Man ... who is also an Empty-Nester .. and who Treats me with RESPECT and DIGNITY -- cares about me ... and is WILLING To TRAVEL to MY HOME for the Holidays so that we can spend time TOGETHER exploring this wonderful new (and so pleasant) relationship!
So ... his Travel to my HOME is the best GIFT I could want right now!

My favorite gift was receiving my dog missy. I always wanted a dog dog when I was little and then when i was Christmas I got it, It was a big surprise. now my dog is the best ever I learn to take more responsibility and stuff and since I got like a puppy I felt like it was raising a baby.

My favorite gift was when we lived in Ontario Canada and we got to fly home for christmas. Home was in Washington State.

My favorite gift was a carrot cake baked by my grandmother about 30 years ago. Because now I can bake that cake and pass it on to my granddaughter.

When I was six years old I remember my mom asking me to help with the bags out of the trunk, without thinking much of it, I opened it and saw a brand new Nintendo for my birthday.
It was awsome!

Yup. My birthday is right before christmas and the year i was 12 i got my first puppy which meant alot to me, and still does because the pre teens is a hard age to get through!

Yes, in 1996 my uncle came to visit. He asked what I wanted most for Christmas. I said a computer. On Christmas day, i didn't get one. The next day he came over and told me to go look outside and there it was, a brand new computer.

oh yeah, actually all of them. But I think the most exciting gifts I think are the ones when your little, toys and dolls, I was really excited with my toy gifts when I was little, and then I would be playing with it the whole night.....
