well if you live close to another paris, thats ok.
but when someone says paris, wouldn't you just automatically think the one in france?
paris texas has a population of 25,000, nobody is talking about paris texas when they say paris geez.

Personally I've never heard anyone say "Paris, France". Usually we just say "Paris" and assume the person we're talking to knows we mean France. I guess it's because I live in New York where there is no Paris, NY (at least not to my knowledge).

Around here ( Charleston, IL ) You have to say Paris, France because there is another town near here named Paris, and between here and Paris is a town named Kansas... great planning.

I am from Kentucky, I live in London, Ky, so I say London, Ky. Also we have a Paris, Ky, so we say Paris, Ky, We also have a Texas, Ky, and a Somerset, Ky. Yes , lots of places they are really 2 places named the same and if you live close to the lesser one, then when you say the larger one like London, Eng. then we say it that way. Thats my excuse.

We have a Paris, Texas. I think you'll find a bunch of them if you look. Why does it annoy you?

Who cares? Why let something so insignificant bother you? Isn't Paris in France? It's not incorrect, so just chill.

read between the lines of Paris (DI. lari s, where DI.=DIo)
so when Germans marched into Paris it was with the blessing of lari s. because i am a lari s.
but thats a joke because truthfully that war was over before i was born.
