you know what is happening? I don't know the psychological word for it, but there has got to be a word for when you start at point A and the people would never go along with or accept something, but you slowly but surely over time (say 7 years later) subltly get them to accept things so far different from what they would have accepted at the beginning of the seven years. So that 7 years later news comes out about that this was done and that was done, and people just shrug their shoulers and resign themselves, whereas 7 years earlier they would have been up in arms.

its time folks, if we dont impeach these bozos, our country will have set the precedent for someone worst to come along in the future. Think about it, we really have not really faced a major crisis. Can you imagine what they could if we really do?

Yes and now as never before has there been such a
compelling case for impeachment and removal from office of the president and vice-president of the United States?

1. Launching an illegal war of aggression against Iraq which violated the U.N. Charter, using fraud to justify the war to the U.S. Congress and the public, and misusing government funds to begin bombing without Congressional authorization.

2. Violating U.S. and international law by authorizing the torture of thousands of captives, which resulted in the deaths of dozens, while hiding prisoners from the International Committee of the Red Cross.

3. Violating the the Constitution by detaining Americans, legal residents, and non-Americans without due process, charges, or access to council.

4. Violating the Geneva Conventions by targeting civilians, journalists, hospitals, and ambulances, and using illegal weapons, including white phosphorous, depleted uranium, and a new type of napalm [Leave it to these murderous a**holes to bring back napalm!]

5. Violating U.S. law and the Constitution by the warrantless wiretapping of the phone calls and e-mail of American citizens.

6. Violating U.S. and state law by obstructing elections [in at least three states] in 2000,2002, 2004, and 2006.

7. Violating the Constitution by using signing statements to defy laws passed by Congress.

8. Violating U.S. law by paying [so-called "journalists"] to disseminate propaganda and misinformation, leaking classified information, and exposing the identity of a covert CIA operative for political gain and retribution.

9. Subverting the Constitution and abusing presidential power by asserting a "Unitary Executive Theory" giving unlimited powers to the President, by obstructing Congress and the Courts review of presidential actions, and by promoting and signing legislation negating the Bill of Rights and the Writ of Habeas Corpus.

10. Gross negligence in failing to assist New Orleans residents after Hurricane Katrina, in ignoring warnings of an Al Qaeda attack prior Sept. 11, 2001, and in increasing air pollution and [failing to recognize and deal with the threat of global warming].

You do have proof that there has been an impeachable offense, right?

Oh, you can't actually prove it with anything that would hold up in court?

I see, so you have more empty accusations which means that no it is not time to start impeachment.

It is time to get congress working on the 11 spending bills that were due almost 2 months ago and for them to basically do their job instead of witch hunting in the administration.

No. But only because there are not enough votes in the Senate to convict, so it's an exercise in futility...and a waste of time energy that can better be applied elsewhere. No need for the dems to stoop to the level of the republicans in the 1990's

Let's start with something practical- arrest those who don't show up when subpoenaed by congress. Executive privilege is no excuse not to show up.

Sorry guys, you can't impeach a congressman. Furthermore, Nancy Pelosi represents her constituents. She has a positive approval rating in CA.

There are two ways to boil crab. The one bound to elicit a battle with the crab is to bring the pot to a rolling boil and then put the crab in. It fights. It grabs at the pot with its large claws. Eventually it succumbs. The alternate method (crueller, I think) is to put the crab in cool water, which it settles into gracefully, and then heat it slowly. It heats so slowly, the crab never figures out when to try to climb out of the pot. It dies calmly huddled at the bottom of the pot.
