If you're just housing one, he will do fine in a 10gallon TALL tank. Of course, bigger is always better. A pair will do okay in a 20gal.

They enjoy climbling & a taller terrarium is preferred over length. You NEED to have plenty of branches and foliage.

They do require heat, but it must be kept between 75-80 degrees f. And basking temps should be betweeb 86-90.
At night, the temp should not go below 65 degrees f.

For lighting, they need fluorescent UVB bulbs. You can also use a heating pad under the tank on the warmer side of the terrarium.

The types of substrate Anoles prefer is peat moss, mulch, bark mulch, or coconut fiber.

They require humidity, and the tank needs to be misted at least twice a day. The humidity should range from 60-70%.

They will eat crickets, mealworms, wax worms, cockroaches, fruit flies and other small insects. All feeder insects should be properly gut-loaded prior to feeding. Offering a variety of different insects will offer the best diet for the anole since different insects have different nutritional values.

Care should be used to not overfeed anoles and they should only be offered only as much food as they can eat in one sitting.

They are a bit more "complex" reptile to keep, and are higher maitenence than a Leopard Gecko, or Bearded dragon.

Hope you find what you're looking for.

"TO GET" LIST:
-Tank [tall] Look into the mesh'wire reptile cages
-Lot of climbing branches & sticks [easy to find at pet stores]
-Foliage [fake leaves & plants]
-Substrate [Mulch is better for higher humidity]
-Feeding dish [ for insects]
-Heat pad
-Heat lamp/UVB fluorescent fixture
-Misting bottle
-Vitamin suppliment for dusting crickets
-"Gut load" [for crickets]
-Cricket keeper
-Crickets
-Care Sheet
-ANOLE

You can see buying a new reptile is expensive to start, but VERY rewarding :]
