It depends on where you are going. Most places give schools a group discount and also let teachers go free because it brings them good money (and a lot of places that you would go on a field trip are very much supporters of education). There may be a few places that will ask the teacher to pay, but if so, it would probably be covered by the school. Some places even let other adult helpers (parent volunteers) come in free.

It depends on the trip. We almost always don't, as we're considered chaperones. Schools bring in a lot of money to businesses with field trips, so requiring the teachers to pay wouldn't be good business. We'll usually have to pay for food if that's included in the trip though.

Depends on trip - if just educational i.e. art gallery, school pays or it is included in the cost of the excursion, some organisations make it free for teachers (as a ratio of students - ie. 10 students = 1 teacher free). If it is a fun & educational trip i.e. Ski Trip - teacher pays.

the teacher should be free. if there is a fee, the school is supposed to pay for it. my dad would be poor if teachers had to pay to go on field trips. they did alot of those at his school and he went to multiple field trips a year before he became an administrator.

I am a teacher, and I have to pay everytime my class goes on a field trip. I work in a low-income area so I'm assuming it depends on where you work and how much money the district has.

It really depends on the trip and the school you work at. I used to work at a school that didn't have a large PTO. If the place didn't offer my spot free, I had to pay for it. I also would pay for my teacher's aide because I didn't think it was fair that she should have to pay to come to work that day. PTO would sometimes (not often) pay me back.
At the school I am at now, it is not a problem at all to get funds for teachers or students. Our PTO is amazing. We are wonderfully blessed by having such involved parents.

Because it is work related it is free for them. The PTA, other school organization or planned school funding usually pays for it. These organizations also typically pay for students who are unable to afford to pay to go. Typically the school or organization pays for the field trip, however parents may be asked to help with transportation fees. Truthfully I don't think a field trip should cost parents more than $5.00.

there is greater to this than you're revealing right here. You had super pastime on the initiating. You joined the club and paid your money. You confident your buddy to sign up and pay. Now you opt to back out with flimsy excuses. you're too busy. it could be uninteresting and as properly, you have "very own reasons." what's the deal? Is it somebody else who would be on the holiday who you do no longer opt to be close to? The holiday spot of the sphere holiday might have had to be authorized by using your college board till now it may desire to be provided, so it form of feels no longer likely which you have some form of non-public objection to the holiday spot. circulate back and reread the preliminary holiday information. there is probably a cut-off date to withdraw. it may desire to have handed. you have to be elementary including your buddy. you are able to no longer back out and go away her in a niche. She probably had to accomplish a little convincing at homestead to get her mum and dad' permission to circulate when you consider that she wasn't initially in contact. you're putting her in a niche at homestead, too. i'm guessing that your replace of heart could desire to be in accordance with some rumor which you heard, some incorrect information, or another doubtful source. It completely depends on where you are going. every private business sets their own fee structure for this.
I take my kids to see an imax movie, I pay
I go to the zoo, no
Beach - nobody pays.
it gets more complex when you factor in that schools often have funds to cover all expenses.
