I need four good E.E. Cummings poems that have an anti-war theme. I already have one, which is Plato told. Could someone help me find three other poems with this same premise? Thank you, once I have the poems I need I will give Best answer promptly.

Cummings wrote many anti-war poems in protesting America's involvement in Europe and the Pacific. E.E. wrote the poem "plato told" to continue the work that his late-father had done as the Executive Secretary of the World Peace Foundation.

Try these as well:
The Red Front (1933), Eimi (1933), No Thanks (1935), Tom (1935).

I wouldn't say he's blaming his subject for everything he does. That would be stupid and psychotic, and he's neither. He's just obsessed with her, which happens when you're in love. He doesn't write any untoward aggressive lines, he loves her and wouldn't hurt her, which is what love also is, an extreme attachment and an extreme caring. You should just read what he writes without projecting what seems like your own fears.

Check out "i sing of Olaf glad and big" and "my sweet old etcetera." Also, his biography "The Enormous Room" is pretty anti-war, as well.
