I am new to call of duty or anyother game like it. I decided to try something else other than sports games. I cannot for the life of me figure out how to play teams online. I understand the level where everyone is for themselves, but the other level confuses me. I tried to play, but I kept shooting at people, but they were not dying, and they weren't shooting back. So, I figured they were on my team. I saw people with 2 different colors floating on top of their heads, but I wasn't killing any of them. Yet, I was dying when I was shot. I didn't know who to fight. It was very confusing. Can anyone explain this to me?

Whats the objective? Do I just kill all the people with red over their heads? what's the strategy? how do I communicate with my team members? I have the playstation eye, so that is supposed to replace my headset, yet know one was talking.

People with green light over their heads (their names) are on your team. In some servers if you shoot your teamates you will die. People with red names over their heads are on the oppossing team.
