Do people deserve free access to the library? A computer is a device that allows people to access the largest library ever created, the internet.

No, people don't deserve anything material. It all depends on the goodness of the provider of those supplies.

No, it is a waste of money. If they get them for free in developed countries then they will be broken within 12 months.
It is different for poorer countries ; I think they would look after them.

I think it would be nice if rich people gave poor children in 3rd world countries those 100 dollar (180 ?) laptops.
