Would you have "jumped ship" during the American Revolution because we had a "snowballs chance in hell"
Would you have run from fighting Hitler because he had a bigger army?
Would you have abandoned Arragorn, Gandalf, and Frodo seeing as they had no chance?
Would you have ran away from Luke, Han Solo, and Chewy because they were outnumbered?

Gosh, political persuasion based on fantasy movies. You've really got your finger on the pulse of the nation there. What would Yoda do?

Good points.. I'd stick with Seabiscuit.

I'm voting for a candidate who people say he as 'no chance' or a 'snowball's chance in hell'...

But if you've seen his campaign funds lately, I would have to say this 'snowball' is getting bigger and bigger, just like the one that's going down a snow covered hill.

By December 16, this 'snowball' is about to get even bigger.

Actually, the answer to the first two is yes. Run away and live to fight another day.

However voting bears no relation to that. My life is not in danger, therefore I always vote for the candidate who I think is the best person for the job. Most of the time, it's not the two bigs.

I'm not surprised this is coming from a Ron Paul supporter.

I am not voting for Ron Paul because I want to see his brainwashed zombie supporters suffer. Not because I don't think he's got a chance. I probably would have voted for him if his followers weren't insane. Now McCain is getting my vote - a republican who also has a snowball's chance.

Abandon Aragorn? Are you kidding me? He's HOT.

Yeah, totally would have left those other guys to fend for themselves, though. Not much of a fighter.

My point is, I would fight for Aragorn because I want to have his children. I would definitely stand up for someone/something I loved very deeply, no matter what the odds were. But stuff I just felt mediocre about? Not so much...

So are you supporting Ron Paul or Dennis Kucinich?

I liked your little speech but it still doesn't change the fact that they have NO CHANCE.

great point....but, effort of fighting a foe physically, and fighting a foe with a single vote is quite different....I could physically fight possibly with the force of 5 men if angered enough...however, no matter how angry I am, I only have one vote....
