I'm switching majors and am not sure what monologues to do for my audition. They should be around 1 minute long and there needs to be two and the should be contrasting.

Just went through this process last year and I remember how trying it is to find those perfect monologues! The best thing to do is look through plays some specific ones that come to mind are: Santa Land Diaries: David Sedaris- it has a VERY funny comedic monologue that talks about people trying to get him fired The Boys of Winter: John Pielmeier- Really Dramatic one in this and the swearing can be cut pretty easy if you need to. Those are the first two that came to mind hope this helps and break a leg! :)

monologues should fit the actor like a glove, why not go to a theatre professor and ask for recommendations for monologues?
