I have nothing against him and I think he has a shot. But I am not sure we will see the firs black president anytime soon.

I'd like to think that Americans have evolved enough to say "YES," and then I look up and we get two terms of Bush.
Sadly I don't have much trust in my fellow American citizens and how bright they are. How else can you explain how so many of them continually vote against their own best interest?

I think that as soon as he wins a primary(and I think he will)the Clinton machine will do everything in it's power to mow him down. Never underestimate the negativity of the Clinton campaign operatives. But, that could just work in Obama's favor, who knows. Even if he wins the nomination, I don't think he'll win in the general. He's short on experience. I do commend him for what appears to be a positive campaign.

I'm voting for him. He is the only suitable candidate. I believe that him being African American will actually make him more fit for the job. Those who vote for Clinton are very naive. Giuliani is also a good choice.

It will be between him and Hillery. She has been, as someone said, doing mild mudslinging. But he has a chance. He brings a breathe of fresh air to the stuff we are used to seeing and he takes the mud in stride.Take care.

He has just as much chance as anyone else. Yes, there are still racists that won't vote, but there are sexists who won't vote for Clinton, and extreme religious fanatics that won't vote for Romney. It's possible.
