Im buying some jeans off the topshop website
and the jeans' sizes are in 'w2832', 'w3032' etc
Their size guide on the website was USELESS so does anyone know?
I thought it might be waist but how would that make sense if they were hip jeans? AHH

I believe i do fit a 'W28'
And im size 10 on my hips
8 on my waist
SO IM STILL UNSURE :s should i get a size ten to be on the safe side?

W28 = size 10 (UK). It isn't your actual waist measurement, although it could be the waistband size or it may just be another sizing system used by designer brands. The other number is the inseam.
Here are the other conversions (all UK sizes):
24 = Size 4
25 = Size 6
26 = Size 8
28 = Size 10
30 = Size 12
32 = Size 14
34 = Size 16
36 = Size 18

I have a question so basically my waist is 26in (size 8) but my hips are 36in (size 10) so what do I do?

W28 means that the circumference of the waistband is 28 inches. Wherever the waistband is going to sit, that is where you need to measure 28 inches.
BTW - what kind of measurement is Mageta8 using ? I am 5'7" tall and around 155 to 160 pounds in weight and I wouldn't even get a W28 over my bum LOL ! If you were 300 pounds in weight you would probably need a W28 for each leg !

i can wear a size 8 jeans and am 28inch :) lol dont ask why i did it
you can get size 10 and wear a belt? or just get it swap for a size 8 , or you can go to any store and try out a size 8 and size 10 jeans

Sounds to me like a 28 inch waist; the next two figures probably give the leg length. If you try on a pair which appears to be about the correct size, ti will become clear what's going on.

i think 28 is a size 10, yes actually because im sure 26 is size 8, im sure of it. You can tell me off if im wrong but im sure now! had a little arguement with myself lol
