If you live in Maine yes. Mumps in a girl is not as big a deal as mumps in a male. If I"m not mistaken...getting mumps as an adult male can make you sterile ...unable to have kids.

Most schools from grade school on up require vaccinations...if you don't want to take the vacinations, then stay home...and be home schooled. Take your college courses online through a university like the University of Phoenix.

Yes they can require you to have the shots.

I searched the article and didn't find the world "poison" - are yo sure you provided the right link?

Vaccinations being needed to access education has been going on forever - it starts in kindergarten.

The justification is a Public Health one.

I bet you got all your vaccinations as a kid. Would you like to share your experiences at having been poisoned? And how you have not benefited from being infected with highly devastating and infectious diseases?

Luckily for those who insist on not being vaccinated to attend college, they can do so at home now online.

It's allowed because vaccination saves the lives of hundreds of thousands of people a year. Mumps, these days, we think of as little more than an inconvenience, because virtually everyone is inoculated, so on the rare occasions someone gets it, they get a mild attack, and don't pass it on. As a result, it's slipped from our consciousness as a major disease, and vaccination rates are going down again.

Before the Mumps vaccine, epidemics went through crowded places like dorms and military barracks like wildfire, leaving some people dead, and a significant percentage of the men who caught it infertile for life.

Vaccinations are not "poison". They help prevent the spread of disease and is largely responsible for the increased lifespan that has happened over the last hundred or so years.
