if ya ask me, she ought to just retire...and they need to pull the plug on that inane show "The View" with it's sorority mentality!

I think that Barbara Walters in someone who all women should respect because she was one of the first women to really make a lasting and important mark in the news casting industry. I do think that Barbara is getting a little on the old side to keep up with the pace of the news world. But on the other hand if she enjoys what she is doing then she should not let her age stop her from working. The View, its a show that has been doing ok in the ratings but with all the drama from the Rosie vs Elizabeth n then the Whoppi Goldberg n the Shar Jackson loosing weight like none other the ratings have increased. I think that once things around the show really settle down people will forget about it all over again. I think its nice to have a show where women talk about the issues but i think that it would have been better if it was made of a group of women who were all friends starting out that way they could feel comfortable when speaking their mind. I do hope that The View will end soon, its boring.

She definitely needs to retire. She doesn't even look right sitting up there with the other women from the View. She has nothing relevant to say and seems more interested in keeping things "polite" than keeping things "entertaining". I think Rosie was right about what she said -Barbara comes off as a school teacher reprimanding the kids "her co-hosts" when they get out of line.

i in my opinion do unlike that lady. She has no sympathy or morals approximately her. If Terri Irwin does an interview with Walters. Walters will attempt to make all that the Irwins have carried out a bad element. she would be able to no longer prepare any appreciate what so ever. i desire she would not go on there. Or everywhere. She needs time to heal.

Couldn't agree more. The View disappointed me, and she's one of the worst on the programme.
I usually find her to be false, and when she doesn't check herself condescending.
Besides I find with her interviews, I often wonder if they're not using the word journalist loosely to describe Ms Walters.

I agree! She needs to be put out to pasture! I can't stand Barbara WaWa. She is apparently devoid of any noticeably talent!

Never really watch the show, but I am tired of her and all those old ladies ganging up on people....or so it seems.
