Yes, it's perfectly safe. Breastmilk is very easily digested (much more so than formula) so it wouldn't upset his stomach at all.

It is SAFER than formula to give to your son. If anything, his tummy and digestion will do much better. Just look on the can, it says breast is best. Unlike a bottle, the milk in your breasts (barring illegal drugs or something) will always be safe and good.
So congrats, isn't that cool?
You might even try to latch him on, see the link below if you're interested, it can take a little bit of practice, but it's worth a shot.

Yes, it is WAY safer then formula... It is the best thing for your baby. However, sometimes it is not possible and formula is necessary. If you can, definitely go with breast milk. While you are trying to relactate don't feel bad to suppliment with the formula if need be.

If you can get your milk supply back it is the best thing for your baby and will only help him, not hurt him.

continue moving forwards. begin giving him water in a cup. within a month, he will start solid food. there is no difference with regards to safety.
