No. Unless they're descendants of one of the Asian indigenous peoples (kalmyks, byrayats, chukchi...) or immigrants from China, Korea, etc. Ethnic Russians (80% of the population of the Russian Federation) are of European descent, since Russians are Slavs, just like Poles, Czechs, Serbians, Bulgarians, Ukrainians, Belarusians, Croatians, Slovenes, Slovaks, Macedonians and a few others. The Asian part of Russia (Siberia) was colonized in the 16th century, long after the establishment of Russians as an Eastern European ethnicity.

Not really only a few Russians are but it depends on the part of Russia you are in and Russia is only partly in Asia so it depends or if you were adopted or if your heritage is just Russian but you were born in Asia.

Or she said "ussian"? Most of us call Russia part of Europe.

Russians are considered Europeans, largely due to the influence of Peter the Great whose fascination with the West greatly influenced Russian history and culture.

generally, Asian does not mean white people, but there are more and more cases where words describing ethnicity and geography do not describe the exact same thing: white Africans, black Europeans, and your Russian Asian friend, among many others
