Do what your Dr. tells you too. You want to stay off your feet and rest as much as possible. Your recovery will be better and you want run as high a risk of hemorrhaging or infection.

I work in the health care field. I know that when you are a CNA, no matter what, you will be yourself and help someone and put yourself in danger of bleeding. It is natural to say to yourself, Well, I feel ok and lift someone. Or, if someone starts to fall, you might grab them and still have problems. I would stay off work as your doctor said.
My sister just had another DNC and she waited a couple of days and started working and still bled the first time she started working. Be safe and listen to your doctor.

Well - you don't have any stitches that might burst or anything else like that. You HAVE had a general anaesthetic, although a comparatively mild one.
If you really want to push it perhaps you could go back to work tomorrow, but why don't you take a bit of time off - have a think about the recent events - relax and compose your mind - then restart work on Monday?

Doctors are doctors because they have spent tens of thousands of dollars and over a decade of their life studying the art of medicine.
If you feel you know better than a thoroughly trained and certified medical physician, then by all means do whatever you want.
If it were me however, I would take the few days off and rest like my DOCTOR told me to, to avoid any possible injury or complications.

No, you should take the time off to rest. I know a d&c is a fairly common surgery but if you don't get the rest you need, you could start bleeding heavily. Take the time off and relax. You probably deserve the break!

while you're from the united kingdom you could ring NHS Direct on 0845 4647, be arranged for a protracted wait nevertheless. in case you or your bf start to get a temperature, sense unwell or have respiration problems bypass to A&E, in any different case wait till at last Mon. If it is itchy you could take antihistamines, accessible over-the-counter at chemists. Calamine lotion is likewise solid for soothing itchy rashes.

You need to take your doctor's advice. I had a D&C and I did not take it easy and ended hemmoraging and had to go to the E.R. I know you probably feel fine, aybe some cramps.
But take it easy until Monday.

No, do what your doctor says and take it easy for a few days. D&C is not a major surgery, but it is surgery none the less.
