Flawed genius that sadly let his "inner demons" get the better of him by his addiction to prescription drugs. He was a gifted & technical high-flyer ( hence the nickname Flyin Brian ) & a forerunner of todays' tech generation of stars. However his "looose cannon" gimmick in WCW was just him in real-life.No acting required.
He crashed his 4x4 into a tree in 1996 & was in a coma for 10 days.He had to have his ankle surgically fused back together again. He lost a lot of mobility after that & lost the hi-flying aerial manoeuvres. He was never the same wrestler & had to adjust his style to a more mat-based offense.
Pillman couldn't hack the change & was found dead in a hotel room with a heart attack.Brought on by his long-term addiction.Shame really bcz he truly was a gifted & talented character.

He was a damn genious, that's for sure. He had everybody from the fans to the wrestlers thinking he had gone insane. Not many people commit to their characters so much.
