People who think no one likes him beacuse the media tells them so

Does anyone who dosn't fall into this group hate RP, and why.

Here are some of the most common reasons I've heard is beacuse he will get rid of all kinds of government programs like education.

No, he will just get rid federal control of them. He will hand them over to the states, people who live in a deep south state like alabama may have different views on gay marriage and abortion then people living in liberal state like Colorado. On a smaller scale its easier to make its citizens happy.

Also, for anyone who thinks losing taxes will hurt the economy, listen. If you don't have to pay income tax you have more money, what do you do with that money BUY **** what happens when you buy ****, you pay sales tax.

sales/consumption tax evens out govt. revenue from Income Tax and it puts more money back into the economy making us a stronger nation finnacialy

In a blind Zogby poll, Ron Paul comes out first. Some polls represent normal people, not only Republicans, and not only Democrats, and most of his ideas pass the test.

I didn't even know about this until today, surprised it wasn't mentioned in general media at all.

My biggest beef with Ron Paul is that he appeals to people's fears with information which is based on inaccurate reports. Granted, all of the politicians do appeal to people's fears, but Paul seems to do it more than others.

I'll give you an example. On his website he mentions (or mentioned, don't know if he still has it posted) that he is against the idea of a "North American Union" that is currently being considered by the government. Fine and dandy, but the problem with that is that the government has never considered anything like a "North American Union" along the lines of what they have in Europe.

So, boiled down, I don't like him because he is fearmongering to get himself elected, and to boot, he is inventing news to do it with. Sounds like more of the same that we've had in the last 8 years..

Hope I don't offend anyone.

Cheers!

I say:

Those paid spammers sure are donating an awful lot to his campaign . . . in both time and money.

I don't know anything about Ron Paul other than I see his signs all over, They look like some one ripped up a cardboard box and used finger paints to write Ron Paul 2008. And you call bush supporters rednecks.

Now I know that he has at least one really really angry follower.

I am a normal person. I don't have anything against him other than the fact that he CAN'T win. if he was in a position where he might have a chance at winning I would support him.

So it boils down to the simple choice of actually being electable which Ron Paul isn't.

So, since Ron Paul doesn't actually have a chance to win, who do we support?

i don't hate ron paul at all. there are candidates who better fit my ideals (Joe Biden) than the congressman from texas. his internet spammers are a little much though, so if all of you could cut down on that it would be much appreciated.

How come you feel entitled to use the racial slur "redneck?"
It's just as much of a racial slur as any other, such as the "n word."

Some have an education and a profound appreciation of history that Ron Paul has never taken the time to acquire.
