Answer a large # of questions for a specific section and keep 10% or more best answers.

No buddy, not 50% or more. That would be very hard(I've done it for my other account =D) and many sections would lack top contributors.

If you guys are looking forward to become a top contributor in P&S, that would be impossible.
Yahoo! changed the rules of P&S due to the fact that P&S is not very helpful. There are no more P&S TC.

Top contributor is for the most answers in a specific category, so pick one and keep answering.

I've been asking and answering only on P&S and I'm still never top contributor--but it does not bother me either. It's not a contest to me.

Lots of answers in the category, with a certain number of Best Answers for them (latest rumor says 45 answers in 30 days & 10% BA, but the exact formula is the Yamster's secret and changes from time to time!). The Yamster himself explains all about it at this blog:

But I think the rules are different for P&S!

I think you need like 50% best answer which is pretty hard in my opinion
