If you have the cover to go over the car seat your perfectly fine. You can put a jacket or warm blanket and a hat on the baby and they will be fine.Good Luck!

Well, the little "window" thing isn't safe and neither is a snowsuit. The only way you can use the little "window" thing is if it uses velcro or elastic around the outside of the carrier. If it goes under the straps, it's a major safety hazard.
Don't use a snowsuit, either. There is supposed to be nothing between your baby and the seat back itself--not even one of those head supports. You are supposed to use a rolled up blanket.
If you have these bulky things on your baby around around your baby, if you get in a car crash, the baby will slip in the harness because it's not tight. You aren't even supposed to be able to pinch any harness above the chest clip which needs to be positioned evenly by your baby's armpits--that's how tight it it supposed to be on your baby. You should make sure baby has socks on, long sleeves and long pants, mittens, a hat, and put a fleece blanket over him.

You won't need a snowsuit. In all probability the only times you'll be outside during the winter are to/from the car and since you have a baby carrier style carseat the baby will be tucked away out of the elements the whole time. You can't put the baby into a snowsuit and then into the carseat because the straps won't be tight enough with all those layers. The carseat covers keep it perfectly warm enough inside the carseat for the baby.

You won't need a snowsuit. I didn't bother with a snowsuit, or even a coat for my daughter until she was about 2. It works really well to put the baby in a wrap-style sling under your coat. All you'll need is a large enough coat, and a cap for the baby's head. Your body heat will keep her nice and warm and cozy.

I didn't have a snowsuit until my son was crawling.
But serious, this is the real point - the stores don't close because you have a baby. If you find you need a snowsuit you can buy one then.

i've read that it is not safe to put a snowsuit on in a car seat. Its recomended just to use a carseat cover and a blanket. Thats all I use and its also much more convenient and quik.

Exactly what 'daa' said. You need a larger coat for yourself, not a snowsuit for baby. Works wonderfully.

I had one and never used it! I bought one of those things that go over the car seat. It zips right up and you don't need to bundle the baby. I think they are called, Bundle Me and there's another one made my kiddapotomus.
