Guitar yo hit the nail on the head. One thing many don't understand about these people is that they are like in to the power and having people make a big deal over them like a movie star.
I know some on a state level that are insane and i mean they are kept on a short leash. these you can spot when they have a fit and act irrational, but I know what you are saying.
the people have been "under the thumb" for so long and just recently we got our free speech back. These politicians have gotten away with doing nothing and now must think all heck is going to break loose and it will.
So if they want to keep their jobs they better shape up. At first i figured it wold be a problem to replace them all, but now figure when one falls they rest will freak out and fall in line. Good question though. take care.

Negativity and partisanship covers up for the real situation, that's that the two events are plenty too close in actual political philosophy. whenever you have 2 curiously comparable products in the industry, their advertising tries to emphasise their variations, to distinguish themselves from the competition. the real situation is the importance of money in politics. the two events get their money from the comparable locations, so which you won't be able to truly anticipate them to have diverse targets, to paintings for various effects. yet I generally blame the Republicans. over the final 30-40 years they have pioneered complete new areas of damaging campaigning, opposition study, and 'the politics of non-public destruction'. This has worked so properly for them which you will by no skill believe right this moment they have been nonetheless the minority party in the US and continuously have been. it is extremely the only way a minority party can win, by making use of energizing their 'base' and getting them to the polls, mutually as additionally turning others off to politics, getting human beings so disgusted that they do no longer even want to vote.

Actually... every politician on the planet wants only one thing:
the next highest office.
That's why we limited our presidents to two terms, to keep them from becoming despots or kings.

Strange, you answered your own question.
But yes, that is why we never elect any honest politicians.

His/her job -- AKA POWER!
Why do you think the weasels in the Senate didn't pass the Shamnesty bill - they knew the people were mad and wouldn't forget about it.
