No but i would!! I need those F'ing pigtails to hold on to damn it! how else do you expect me to guide your head?

It depends where you work. I'd say YES because it has the possibility of scaring customers away, or attract the wrong kind of attention. It would be just like if you dyed your hair blue or something.
EDIT: Ok since you only communicate with customers over the phone then no, it shouldn't be an issue to shave your head.
