If there was a chance that Heaven could touch earth, this man proves that indeed it can.
Never give up faith in yourself, because in the end, it's all you've got and faith CAN move a mountain.

Life can really suck sometimes-- I've had severe allergies, fibromyalgia, chronic fatigue syndrome, herniated disks, vascular disease, blood clots, food intolerances (including wheat), a total hysterectomy and cancer. My childhood best friend who was more like a sister died in our 20's, I was molested as a child and just left an abusive marriage, my own parents didn't believe me and several people I thought were friends have decided I was lying and I have been told that if I were only "closer to God" my husband would not have hurt me.
All this before the age of 40.
And yet, I still have a sunny attitude, have kept my warm, tender heart wide open and look forward to tomorrow. If I can TRIUMPH over this garbage and turn it into something good by helping someone else, then *I* have WON!
None of the crap that has come my way can steal my love or attitude towards life unless I let it-- and I am too much of a fighter to let that happen.
It doesn't mean I don't get tired and frustrated, or have unhappy days-- but I try to keep joy in my heart at all times.
I have three beautiful children, many amazing friends, a new sweetie who loves *ME* in spite of all of the above and the chance to make a difference again tomorrow.

As I always tell my children:
Don't judge someone else's path; you haven't walked in their shoes. If you don't agree or like what they are doing, remember, they may be 100% improved from who they were yesterday and growing leaps and bounds faster than you. When they surpass you, do you want them to look down at you?
I love you who ever you are and where ever you are. Just keep going. It is worth it in the end, because you may change the world for the better when you get through your trial and learn from it.
(No hugs or mushy stuff at the end of my encouraging word. Strangers find that wierd.)

1. You are loved. You are a lovable person.
2. Read anything by Joseph Campbell. Favorite quote by him is: "Follow your bliss!"
3. Life is meant to be lived, not survived.
4. For all of you caretakers out there: "Take care of yourself FIRST, or there won't be anything left to give to your loved ones. Take that nice long hot bath at the end of the day. Spend that extra couple of dollars on a quality item that makes your day easier. You are worth it!
5. For all you students out there: Stick it out. Get through it. Even if you are taking classes that make not a bit of sense to you now. It's the diploma you are working towards, and that is a very valuable thing to have in your life! You can do it!
6. For all the people out there with serious problems in their lives; Remember this: Everyone has serious problems in their lives at one time or another or even consistently. You have to take difficult things in stride. Don't give up. Remember that there are people out there willing to help you and support you, you just have to open up your mouth, swallow your pride, and ask. Difficulty that is lived through and solved becomes valuable experience that helps you to cope in the future for the next diffuculty in yours or someone else's life that you are meant to help.
7. My eldest son's favorite saying is: "Don't worry, be happy!"
8. My youngest son's favorite saying is: "It's all good!"
Have a blessed day!
(Sorry this was a bit long winded!)

search not for answers in others but that which lies in you.
Keep your head up it can't rain all the time.
You must be able to handle the small tasks in which you are given before you can expect to be dealt great ones.

I always say it's going to be alright or it's going to be all over. Either way I win. but i like this quote
"I know God promised not to give me more than I can handle. I just wish He didn't trust me so much."
