George is right, it's

1942 Chicago Bears
1948 Cleveland Browns
1972 Miami Dolphins

however the '72 Dolphins are the only team to go undefeated through the superbowl since there was no superbowl in the '40s

There has been a few. They talk about Don Shula's 72 Dolphin team because they are the only undefeated team in the current 16 game season. Hopefully the Patriots will take the cake this year.

I believe the '72 Dolphins were the only ones to go undefeated. The Bears almost did last year and in '85 both both teams lost to the Dolphins, I believe. Kinda ironic, huh?
