You have two 18 year old females living in the USA.

Female A has two children already. The government pays for the prenatal care, delivery, and provides female A and her kids with health insurance. Female A qualifies for welfare, food stamps, and section 8 housing. The government wants her off assistance, so they provide free day care, free job training, or pay for up to two years college tuition.

Female B makes her education a priority, works a part-time job, and avoids premarital sex. When it's time for her to go to college, she has to apply for a student loan that she has to pay back. While in college, she has to work a part-time job, and live with several room-mates so she can afford to pay for an apartment and go to school. When she gets married, she and her husband have to pay for their health insurance when they want to have children, otherwise, they are required to pay the hospital for the service.

Based on government freebies, who's strategy is best?

Of course, government should encourage a society, to produce as many "Female B's" and as few "Female A's" as possible. But, there are factions in our government who encourage people to become "Female A's"; the "A" is created via the exploitation of the poor, weak and helpless, for political gain. It's not that there is a desire for anyone to become the "female A" but it's a belief that "A" cannot succeed if she works hard, gets an education or does her very best.... the message to "A", from socialists, you have no chance to succeed in a capitalist society. Get on our bandwagon, give us your vote & in exchange, we will subsidize your life at just above poverty level.

If this concept is hard to understand, look at what this same faction of society does for civil rights- they give power to race baiters who pervert the message of Dr King, in a very corrupt way, doing the opposite of Dr King's message, selling out their people to prolong the conflict and avoid unification of the races.

Female A is the product of socialism!

Female B, of course.
But, you simply cannot throw away Female A. It would be nice if everybody was like Female B, but they aren't, sometimes they make a mistake, or go down the wrong road for a while. So, unless we have a country of infallible automotons and we put everyone who makes a mistake in a bag in the river, there will always be Female As.
I was on the wrong road for a while, but I wised up, got my stuff together and am sorting it out. Some people take longer than others.
What was the alternative for Female A? Die in the street with her two kids?

Female A has made a mistake and now it is time to give that kid the best chance possible and that is when "We the People" to help her back up so the kids don`t end up in crime kinda like an investment.
Female B well I am all for a tax hike (not now because we don`t have the wages for it) that would give everyone free collage, that is the thing with taxes they are an investment in our country, what a patriotic thing to do, invest in your country. It is hard today because the Republican world view is that of every man or family for themselves rather then we are all in this together.

Female A is just as capable as Female B; no mention of male in process of Female A's life.

We will assume, he was a "class B male"--raised to not be responsible and the children's responsibility falls on the mother, or he was abusive and she was practicing safety for herself and her children.
Female A begins life with difficulties, and progresses into Female B.

They are both the same female; how did this become a gender issue. The primary difference is the way the government influences Female A's choices.

There are no mistakes; when children are born, their life is just as valuable as children born to married couples.

The conservative presenation has been to promote birth, advocate against abortion, promote marriages called "healthy" and leave little assistance to get out of an unhealthy marriage while maintaining adequate freedoms in choice. While also insulting persons life and difficulties, shunning persons who need assistance, even temporarily.

Social programs are supposed to be humane.

Additional comment: the moment one of your political choices mentions job creation, this will automatically promote the declined need for government assistance--consider to create new "extra jobs", the moonlighting jobs persons used to work for the extra cash. Not prostitution like they have in Texas.

The push for all jobs to be a "career oriented pathway" after acquiring a certificate for low paying career terms as life choices, simply does not fit into your ideals for other persons.

There are conservatives, then there are moral conservatives.

Slappy,
Female B may very well end up in the same situation as Female A, although it is more difficult for her to comprehend this. Loss of a spouse, death of a spouse, loss of a job, illness, medical bills families cannot pay--these real situations can contribute to anyone ending up single, that is the reality of the situation.

Female A has a better chance of becoming what you coin "successful" after hardship simply because she dealt with character forming situations. Female B has a hard road ahead of her if she believes her choices are what make her life a little easier.

i think that female b believes that her strategy is the best, and i would agree.
she could have chosen A but then, she would have no husband, no support from a partner, no ability to make $$ and be independent, having to meet requirements for handouts and etc. i also agree that female B's strategy is best and would recommend it. You are making female A's life sound easier than it is. It's a tough road. I'm glad I chose road B.

Female B's. She will have a better life then Female A. You may think Female A is getting everything for free, but she isn't getting much. And as a human being she really isn't leading a very fulfilling life.

Great question...way to put it in everyday landuage for the challenged!!!

It was the beginning of socialism, and the end to people having values and taking the easy way out.

Does it make me a B**** to point out that FemaleA is a lib and Female B is a good conservative?
