Nazis were more about a reaction to the sanctions placed on Germany after World War I. It was a nationalist movement which was socialist in name only. The Nazis were enemies of the Communists in Russia. The Democratic agenda today is less socialistic than the New Deal of FDR who by the way, was another enemy of the Nazis.

The Nazi movement grew in a period where there were two mass workers' parties in Germany laying claim to socialism - the Social Democrats and the Communists. The Nazi's referred to their programme as national socialism for purely opportunist reasons, a practice that is still continued by most existing fascist organisations to this day.
The proof of the pudding is in the eating. When the Nazis came to power, those daft enough to take the 'socialist' part of national socialism seriously (the Strasser brothers, a good proportion of the party organisation in northern Germany) were given short thrift - they were either bureaucratically gagged as the Nazi's racialism aggressively asserted itself, or they were disposed of - some of whom during the infamous Night of the Long Knives.
Not convinced? Our "socialist" Nazis presided over a real decline in the living standards of the German working class between 1933 and the start of the war. The only nationalisations that took place were of inconsequential Jewish concerns, which were handed over to more aryan owners. And of course, the Nazis have the accolade of being among the first regimes in the world to pioneer the privatisation of public services.
Tip to the OP - if you want to troll, at least try do it intelligently.

Well, the socialistic ideals of the Nazi party were quite different from what the Democrats in the US have ever promoted. In addition, real Democrats don't call anyone Nazis. Just because some ignorant moron claiming to be a Democrat misuses a word, it should not be taken as evidence that any or all real Democrats do the same.

Why don't you study history more thouroughly, don't just scan the write-ups titles of the shows playing on the history channel or listen to what someone ELSE tells you to believe?
Gun control is one method used by the Nazis, it's true, however, they also voided habeas corpus, and routinely arrested and held people for extended periods without ever being charged or coming to trial. In fact, the general consensus was: if the SS, Gestapo or police picked you up, you were never seen again.
The Dems and the GOP both use some of the same ideas the Nazis used, I don't care for either.
But I do know the difference.

I challenge you to name one socialist program implemented by the Nazis. they used the term national socialism in order to gain support of the people. The Nazis were a fascist regime which is the extreme of the far right. Since republicans typically lean right they have more similarities to the Nazis
If you believe that the Nazis were actually socialists because it is in their name then you are as stupid as the people that let Hitler rise to power.

National Socialism is not really the same as the socialism practiced by the Soviet Union; the government could command the heads of major companies to do things and some types economic activity were consolidated into smaller numbers of companies. But private property still exited so it is not really socialism. Democrats call republicans Nazis because they believe some of tatcics republicans use resemble to the smallest degree Nazi tactics such as using nationalism to an excessive and politcal way and targetting minority groups groups such as gays as being evil and cause of socities problems

The Nazi movement was more like pure capitalism but they ran out of time. Democrats are good representatives of the peoples will unlike Republicans which mostly fallow father figures that know best especially in times of fear and if the people collectively decide they want some social programs that that is the will.

No. The Nazis (NSDAP) of Germany were the political right whereas the Social Democrats (SPD; Socialists) and KPD (Communists) constituted the political left of the day. The NAZI party grew out of a number of smaller far rightwing and nationalist groups of the time. "Socialist" in their name was mostly just a ploy to get working class support for their overall pro-business (pro-corporate) stance.
NAZIS KILLED SOCIALISTS, like Limbaugh (defender of the divine right of kings) and Bill O' would have thugs do to the far left today.

Then why did Hitler invade the Soviet Union Russia during WWII?
You are so uneducated. The NAZIs wanted to have a "master race" and were genocidal. Socialist may have been in their title, but they were not actually even socialist. They were fascist.
I don't know about the gun control. But if he did, obviously it would be to stub the citizens' attempt to stop them. He manufactured firearms for all of his insane Nazi men. What a desperate attempt by you... pathetic!
