My husband is going to hays,ks and I was wondering about the area.population ect...Small town or metro?Also what banks are in the area?

It is a small town.
There are about 20,000 people there. Which is a lot by some of the other Kansas towns. I like small towns and Hays is a pretty nice small town.. If you mean the banks that I think you mean it has A Commerce Bank and an Emprise Bank and a few others. I hope that I helped.

I saw the negative and smart-mouth responses. I do not live in Hays , but have been there many times. It is a small town in the middle of Kansas, but it is a very nice small town. Clean, attractive, town, pleasant people and a wonderful community swiiming pool we often went to. I think it is a really great little town.

How witty! enable's see, i'm going to pass with people who have been actual Yankees. None of those "weapons for hire" like Reggie Jackson. To me he's probably no longer a real Yankee. It's a small town, but not by Kansas standards. I've been there many a time and I have no regrets.

hays is a tiny college town in the middle of nowhere, aka northwestern kansas. hays isn't the end of the world, but you can see it from there.
