She is very smart but she comes across to hard for the general masses to appreciate what she is bringing to light.
So therefore she is less likely to be believable or influential.

She might influence the average citizen to a point but if you are talking about policy makers like senators and the bureaucracy not in the least; they have their own researchers and sources of information and most have far more real experience or education in the various areas she writes about

I don't know how she survived being hung by the neck, or how she stands on those skinny pins but between her admitted alcoholism (she drinks wine all day long) and cig addiction and her being caught banging Bob Guccioni jr. in a public hallway...it's hard to listen to her talk about her "higher plane as a Re pubic an"
