No, he was probably way past the capabilities of rational thought and allowed himself to indulge in things that would normally go beyond the boundaries that he has set for himself.Alcohol can produce unconscious brutal honesty, not always , but sometimes. It can have similarities with the Freudian slip.

No necessarily. I had a friend that used to like to come over and try on my nighties. After he found one he felt was especially "sexy", he would wear it home under his clothes. Needless to say, I never requested nor accepted a returned nightie...it just would never be the same again.
