Men are more violent then women. Just look at sports.
As far as crimes - the violence increases as the criminal gets more and more hardened with practice.
Since men commit more crimes, they tend to be more violent.

I'm not really a feminist or an MRA, more of an egalitarian, but I'll answer. I looked up PAS on Wikipedia. It said that PAS had no scientific basis because it was unfalsifiable, the initial journal it was proposed in wasn't peer-reviewed, and the originator of the theory later stated that it happened equally to men and women. I'm not opposed to protecting men from women's false allegations.I'm sure that a good lawyer could do that, although juries can be biased. More attention given to female-on-male crimes like domestic violence would probably make these juries less biased against men. As for the drug incarceration laws, I'd like to see some links there. You have a point. As for the "boy crisis," the media is in hysterics about the still-disputed idea of a "boy crisis." And the media is in hysterics about the still-disputed idea of a "wage gap." I see no gender bias; the media just likes being hysterical. Both feminists and MRAs tend to turn a blind eye to discrimination against the opposite sex. To their credit, MRAs at least are up-front about their movement being focused on their gender's issues, and don't claim that ending sexism against men will end all inequality everywhere.

It's not a stereotype, of course, if it's true.
It is not true that all men commit more violent crimes than all women, nor is it true that more violent crimes are commited by men in all times and all places. But it is true that of the violent crimes that are occurring right now in my country, more of them are committed by men than women. I suspect that's pretty much what you meant, though.
I have little doubt that there is a biological component involved to a degree. It is, after all, also true that men tend to be larger and more muscular than women. A person would have to be either very sure of themselves or completely out of their minds to try violent action against someone who was physically massive compared to them!
I think this leads to psychological consequences as well. It is hard to have ANY kind of power and not use it. And since men tend to have more personal physical power than women they tend to use it a lot more, even when it is completely inappropriate.

While your question may be considered stereotyping, the percentage of men who've committed violent crimes is much higher than the percentage of women who have done same.
I would say it has more to do with the cultural environment and upbringing...boys are taught to be 'tougher' than are girls, etc. These days, though, many girls are far from shy in the violence department as well.
Still...I need to agree that men do commit more violent crimes than do women...consider rape, for example. Not too many females commit that crime of violence.

You are stereotyping if you are making that statement from your own personal judgment, and not by, facts that you have thoroughly researched.
Anyone who commits a violent act can have different reason why they would do such a thing. Some can be something biological, but I would have to say it more has to do with their environment and not so much as their upbringing, but maybe their peers.

No, of course you are not stereotyping. The evidence tells us that indeed men do commit more violent crimes than women. Its fact, and irrefutable.
Re; possible genetic component: scientists are becoming increasingly aware that our temperament is inherited, and that genes play a larger role in our behavior than previously thought. This is especially true for psychopaths: looks like it runs in families, I kid you not!

I think if a female was to be given testosterone injections and have the same level as a male, she would act similarly. If a male was given estrogen and have the same levels as a female, he would act similarly. My vote is for a biological component.

Some of the violence is done for women or over them. I agree that more violence is done by men, it comes from the environment. A little boy is pushed into the most violent games, if he can not perform like other little boys he is looked down on. A few strike out as the boy in Omaha did, I think he is wrong but I can understand him. I was lucky I had two things this child did not have, the Bible and friends who did not look down on. A few of the people who answer, we have spell check on the computer.

I think it's because men are naturally more aggressive and violent by nature. Naturally speaking, men are supposed to be fighters, hunters, protectors, providers. Therefore, men are more inclined towards violence and action and risk taking.

Are you asking if you are sterotyping or are you asking the question? lol
Yes you are stereotyping, but I think it's a safe bet.
All of the above. Testosterone, parents behavior, culture, financial status...
Raj: I think the better question is why there are more black men in jail than white men.
Raj: lol - Are you missing your front teeth?
