My partner and I run a guesthouse, and during the summer we had a lovely family stay with us for 2 weeks from Kuwait. We exchange emails and they have sent us photos. Is it OK for us to send them a Christmas card?

no take the extra time and go get a card that says holiday greetings or seasons greetings. something generic. if you are friendly with these folks do you want to run the risk of offending them?

I used to work with a Muslim. He always sent Christmas cards to fellow work mates and we used to wish each other happy tidings, so yes I would think it okay to send a Christmas card to your friends.

Why not? There are plenty of non religious ones about if you feel it is a sensitive. I do not know what objection a Muslim can really have because although they reject Christ as the Saviour they do regard him as a prophet of Islam

Of course! You want them to have a nice time over Christmas don't you? My next door neighbour wished me a Happy Eid. Goodwill shouldn't be defined by religion. If you're feeling festive - share it!

i think it would be all right if done on the rite way ( in so much as saying )that you wish to invite them in a celebration that you and your family celebrate this time every year because you think of them as someone special in your life I AM SURE THEY COULD NOT TAKE THIS AS BEING A WRONG THING TO DO as i am sure that they would like to include you in there special days

Not really. Maybe a nice letter saying you hope they enjoy the holiday season.

Why not it's nice to let them know they're in your hearts at this special time of the year.
