Katy French is reported to have died tonight, how sad. Such a short life gone. I only hope for her familys sake it wasn't drug related as seems to be the most popular opinion.

Katy French is an Irish model who died a few days after her 24th birthday at a party.Cocaine related!!!!!

Sadly it does seem to be drug related. She was a lovely girl, not a typical model, there was the good old Irish charm in her. Many a girl including myself used her as their role model. She only celebrated her 24 birthday last week. RIP.

I can only hope it was through natural causes and not drugs. The former is at least a "times up dear." Very sad for those left behind but at least without the "if only" side of it .
If drug related it is a tragic waste of life and particularly terrible for the family who will be wondering if they could have done anything to prevent the death or even cursing themselves for not being more alert

Well actually it was drug related. Cocaine I believe. It has been on every talk show here cos believe it or not people are starting to inject that s**t. It goes straight to the heart then and causes heart attacks in new users. Not that she was a new user. She did openly admit to snorting it. What about the young guys who died this week through the same substance only they ate it. Used to be cocaine was a rich man's drug. not anymore. It is mixed with so much crap now and is so readily available it is dangerous. A waste of a young life.

Katy French is (sorry was) an Irish Model, she has been in Navan hospital since sunday - my friend was in the same hospital (let go home last night) and it was like a media circus there. She was only 24 and very pretty.
She collapsed at a friends house in Ashbourne and had been in a coma since, she only celebrated her birthday 1 week ago.

wel unfortunately it is most likely to be drug related she collapsed at a party in ireland on sat nite. allegedly shes tok cocaine. it is such a sad waste of a life of such a beautiful girl with the owrld at her feet. hopefuly people will learn from her death and not do drugs.

That is so tragic. Her poor family. There is a massive cocaine problem in Ireland at the moment and it is generally believed that she took cocaine last Saturday. The day after her birthday. Oh the poor girl. And just before Christmas too. That makes it even more tragic.

sad , acouple of weeks ago in county waterford not far from the place this poor girl collapsed, twenty people became ill after a party with some coke, two later died in hospital, makes you think twice about having a sniff.
I dont think it will make much difference to her family what caused her death, she is dead you can add pain to that

Hmmmm, i think of there are far greater sadder issues than that... only take a seem on the ten 300 and sixty 5 days previous toddler drowsing under a bridge and is hungry because of the fact it hasn`t eaten in view that the day gone by.. God bless & hugs from Texas. {:-) <><

i don't know who that is. but maybe whoever she is made the most of it. just focus on living every day to the fullest, and hope that she did as well.. people die. it's a fact of life. you could have an hour left or a century. only God knows...
