Well, as usual, the church is kicking up a big fuss. The funny thing is, they still haven't caught on to the fact that every time they, the church, condemn a book or movie, it only makes it more popular ! I remember when "The Last Temptation of Christ" was released. It was playing at one independent theater and was getting very little notice and would have come and gone in no time, but as soon as the church people started picketing, there were lines around the block to see it. The same goes for The DaVinci Code. Yes, it was a fairly good selling book, then that priest went on television and practically begged people not to read it - needless to say, sales skyrocketed from there. If they would just ignore the films and books they deem offensive, they would come and go with little fanfare. By causing a big fuss over them, they're just giving the movie / book free advertising and naturally people are going to line up to see what all the fuss is about. Bottom line, if you write or film something the church is going to disagree with, you'll make a fortune and save a mint on advertising. Myself, I'd heard of the DaVinci book, but only in passing, but once that priest went on the air, the waiting list at my public library was a mile long, which only made me want to read it more! I basically live by a simple rule: If the church says it's bad, then it must be great - or at least fun.

This movie is very offensive to anyone who believes in God. The children kill God in the end, which is off the wall. People should know more about this movie before they go to see it with their kids, especially if you are a believer. I suggest that no one go to see this demonic movie unless you associate yourself with witchcraft, demons and the Devil himself.

BEWARE.

People have a right to free speech and that goes for making movies as well as voicing objections to the material contained in them.

I'm Catholic and I'm extremely psyched for the movie. Yes, the writer is an Athiest but he isn't imposing his beliefs in the book. The book, and the entire series at that, is great. Do more research rather than jumping to conclusions.

so just because the author believes somthing different than you, you gonna hate on it? who gives a damn its just a stupid movie. Do you really think god cares that you watch it? No! think about it, he has bigger and better things to think about

It is a very bad movie. DON'T watch it. Atheism is a very bad thing. I suggest you stay home and read a book.

I will see it if for no other reason than to find out what the Catholics are so upset about.
