Mine would have to be what happened to Adam Monroe in Heroes. He has this ability so he can regenerate from any wound, and thus can't die. So as a punishment for his sins he was locked in a coffin, layered with concrete, then was buried tens of feet underground.

He be in that coffin for perhaps hundreds of years, because he'll NEVER die. Okay it's not a movie, but it still awful.

...one of my favorites: the ending of the 1987 action/thriller, "Wanted: Dead or Alive"; if I recall the scene correctly, Rutger Hauer's character, a modern-day bounty hunter descendent of the original Steve McQueen western T.V. series character had just beaten the snot out of the terrorist/villain character, deliciously played by Gene 'KISS' Simmons, and had forcefully jammed a hand grenade, steadfast in his mouth. Dragging him outside, via by the grenade pull ring, Hauer's character finds himself surrounded by the local police force, including the law enforcement liason, who would hire him, from time to time. Handing the Simmon's character over to the liason, Hauer's character walks away, having satisfactorily completed the job. The liason informs him that along with payment for the job, there is a bonus for bringing in THAT particular terrorist. Looking back at the terrorist, who appeared to be smiling, despite the grenade jammed in his mouth, Hauer's character walks back to the terrorist, smiles back, looks over to the laison, says "F*** the bonus", pulls the grenade pin, and once again, walks away. Law enforcement officers immediately scatter, and the terrorist just stands there, in shock, with nowhere to go, until....BOOM!!!

I agree. Adam's is the worst. It was pretty heartless to do that. I know he is a bad guy and all but just use a gun then! dont lock him in a coffin for all of eternity.

Captain America getting shot was kind of a weak way to end his story. Why could he not have died fighting some bad guys? That was kinda weak in my opinion.
