It's absolutely worse. Calling a kid "dyslexic" is so much more reasonable (and accurate) than tagging him with such an awful thing.

i think of everybody new to talking a language sounds tough.  I had an intercambio relationship with a Spanish guy while i improve right into a student in Spain, and, even even with the undeniable fact that I had in uncomplicated terms been there for a month, and can desire to slightly comprehend genuine spoken Spanish at velocity, i could no longer comprehend a be conscious this guy improve into announcing, and had to maintain asking him to repeat in Spanish, because of the fact his English improve into so incredibly heavily accented. So, i do no longer think of it concerns that's the interior reach and that's the objective language...rookies sound the worst.  You learn as you bypass.

That sounds much worse! Once explained, even the youngest kids (playmates/classmates) will understand the condition. But to be labeled as learning disabled is just wrong! That could cause much taunting from his peers (ugh! I do remember being a kid!).

I don't think dyslexia is a learning disablity. My ex-husband has dyslexia, and it doesn't seem like he ever had a problem learning. So, yes, I think it does sound worse.
