This new game from EA known as "Dead Space" looks phenominal. Ever since I saw the trailer I just can't stop thinking about that same feeling. If you've ever played Shadow of the Colossus, then you know what I'm talking about. Every aspect of "Dead Space" has that," no hope, all is lost, last man left" mentality. That whole concept is really gripping. I want to know what you people thought of the trailer and if it will be the resurection of great EA titles. Tell me your opinions.

Well, I saw the video, but the aspect of "Dead Space" is different in Shadow of the Colossus. I love Shadow of the Colossus, but the game "Dead Space" can't even compare to it. Shadow of the Colossus is about being in a foreign land with no other human beings, but the game Dead Space is more of a survival game.
I my opinion, the game Dead Space is nothing but a more futuristic version of Silent Hill or Resident Evil. The trailer was great, but I don't play survival games like Resident Evil.
I guess the good thing about this game is that EA is finally making a new game other than a racing game or sports game. Also, I'm a little skeptical about the game because it's made by EA.
As of now, I'm not really interested in Dead Space, but as I find out more about the game in video game magazines and online, my mind may change, but I doubt it.

To me the gameplay sounds a little like a mix of Mass Effect and Fallout. I thought the trailer was amazing, it looks like it's going to be another must buy game...

I have my doubts because it's EA after all... but I like the Alien movie type of feel it apparently will have. Trailer vid in the link.
