Feminism is the radical notion that feminists are women.

Not me. The only person's love that I ever wanted returned is married to me right now, and I was a feminist before I met him(thanks to feminism, I was able to go into a job that I might not have been able to get before and that job took me to Germany where I met him). I became a feminist because I believe that my gender should not be what holds me back in this world, only my own failings which have nothing to do with what my gender is .

No, I am not a feminist because of unrequited love. Yes, I have been hurt by men I have dated.

Are you a chauvinistic pig because of unrequited love? Be honest.

I'm a feminist because my political and social beliefs align with feminism. I've experienced unrequited love before, but hasn't everyone? Those aren't sufficient grounds for feminism.

I became a feminist long before I ever started dating. I wised up to the unequal treatment of women early in life and saw the need to do something about it.

Unrequited love? Nah, I'm in a happy relationship right now.

I am but my father left my mother and she had to fight to raise us alone. So in a way the lack of love from my father is why I am some-what feminist.

I've never experienced unrequited love. If someone clearly had no interest in me, I just accepted it and moved on. You can't make someone love you.

man you all should be lawyars or somthing! lol but i think people are femonist because men in some cases look down on them or put limits on the b/c they are women if it was b/c of a bad relationship it would have a hatred twords men but it doesnt its just they want equalness

2007-12-06 08:33:34 · answer #9 · answered by Anonymous · 2 1

You're going to have to explain the link between unrequited love and the desire for equality.

Update: It seems that the vast majority of the whiners on this board are males with the relationship issues. Perhaps, you should go talk with them.

I am a feminist because I believe that EVERYONE should have the right to follow whatever dreams she has. I believe that the majority of woman are wonderful, bright and capable people who should have all of the same advantages allotted to men. I am a feminist because nobody should have the right to tell another person what to do with their life and bodies.

BTW my husband loves me very much. Thanks.

Edit - Nope but thanks for asking.
