McDonalds was my first job. It is very easy, but hectic and stressful too because it is such a high paced job. Running the counter or the drive thru is a lot easier than being on the line cooking or making the food. And if you get stuck on fries, you will smell like a french fry. Everything in the computer is priced for the item so all you have to do is hit a button for what the customer wants and it gives you the total with tax already. It's a no-brainer job.

I have never worked at McDonalds, but I have owned 2 restaurants where counter service was used. It is a good place to learn people skills. Nobody was born knowing how to operate a cash register or a drive thru. Give it your best shot. It probably won't take too long to find out if you have apptitude for such things.

its not easy, its stressful when really busy, the prices are coded in the registers, dont do drive through, it sucks, try to get the counter if you can, its easy to run the register once you have learned it, good luck

I worked there when I was 16 and I hated it. I only got the job because this guy I liked worked there. Even though the guy was hot, the job wasn't worth it! So I quit!! Got the guy anyways!! LOL!!
