MY OPINION IS HYGIENE PURPOSES ONLY THE REASON WHY IS I CAN I'MAGINE MYSELF SITTING NEXT TO A GIRL IN A MUSCLE SHIRT PUTTING MY ARM AROUND HER AND HUGGING HER RIGHT. WELL WHAT IF SHE TURNS AROUND AND ACCIDENTALLY PUTS HER FACE IN ALL THAT BUSH WOULD YOU GIRLS SAY THAT'S NASTY. EVEN A GUY CAN SAY THAT ITS F.U.C.K.E.N. NASTY TO GET IN TO SOME ONES ARMPIT. I PERSONALLY KNOW FROM PLAYING BASKETBALL THAT SWEAT IN UR FACE PLUS THE BUSHY BUSH. ITS GOT TO BE THE SICKEST THING! MY OPINION IS THAT HE'S CLEAN TAKES GOOD CARE OF HIMSELF AND WANT HIS APPEARANCE TO LOOK GOOD. NOT BECAUSE HE'S GAY OR ANYTHING BUT BECAUSE OF HYGIENE. THAT'S IT. AND IF HES GAY AND DOES THAT I THINK WE CAN ALL AGREE WHY RIGHT? NO OFFENSE TO ANY ONE THAT'S GAY BUT MOST LIKELY IF HE IS HE WILL. I DO IT AND I'M NOT GAY OR BI. I JUST WANT TO TAKE IN TO CONSIDERATION MY PARTNERS COMFORT. P.S WHAT WRONG WITH A MAN FEELING GOOD AND LOOKING GOOD. IT'S NOT EVERYTHING BUT SINCE WE ARE TALKING BOUT PHYSIC WHY NOT GIVE IT ALL U KNOW. IF A MAN SHAVES HIS PUBIC THEN I THINK THAT'S GAY IF HE TRIMS MAYBE. I TRIM I MEAN FOR THE SAME REASONS U KNOW ESPECIALLY I NT E SUMMER. AND LIKE I SAID IM NOT GAY OR BI IT'S CLEANLINESS. A PERSONS ORIENTATION MAY NOT MATTER SO WHY SAY 2 AND 30 ADD UP TO 6 EVEN THOUGH ITS CLOSE IT NOT SIX YET U NEED TO ADD A ONE AND THAT ONE IT KEY!

Don't see how it makes a difference, really. It's a matter of personal choice. Shaved armpits are easier to maintain and less likely to stink. Unlike some other people who answered this, I certainly don't think it affects his masculinity at all.

It's so much more comfortable, I don't see why all men don't shave their armpits. I would think he was a little primpy, of course. That's not really a bad thing all the time.

Shaving is taking it a little too far. But trimming isn't.
Hair collects bacteria and the more hair, the more bacteria. The more bacteria the stronger the smell of body odor. Shaved armpits are going to be less likely to hold bacteria and stink throughout the day.

Why is it unacceptable for a woman not to shave and a man to shave?
I dislike seeing hairy armpits on men, so I'm quite happy for men to shave.

My fiancee does but that's because he got his armpit tattooed. It doesn't bother me a bit.

If he's a swimmer, runner, or body builder, it is almost acceptable. It's weird in those cases, but almost tolerable. Any other reason would make us suspect of his manhood or sanity.

It doesn't matter to me, and swimmers to it, and shave their legs, and arms, it makes them swim faster.
