And do you prefer them scary or a nicer-humane version?
I prefer werewolves out of the two because they are more interesting. I like them because they're a sign of pity and a sign of damnation. Sort of like a human--to be pitied and damned.
Vampires are a close second too and I prefer them scary like Anne Rice's vampires.

Hi,
The werewolf has always been my favorite as far as being frightening goes. In so far as being dispatched from life I'd rather face the vampire. The werewolf is very ill mannered and sloppy in his work compared to the vampire.

I've been obsessed with Vampires my whole life. It is very interesting to see how differently they are portrayed in movies and books. I don't really care which way the writers/authors go, I'll want to see/read it either way.
I do like Werewolves as well. I tend to like the more traditional versions better though.

I won't take credit for the article, which is cited as my source, nor attempt to re-word it, as I feel this only takes from the completeness of it in explaining the phenomenon misconceived to be that of Vampirism or Lycanthropy.
On a more spiritual level, they are as real as can be, though not physically. Power animals and totems can endow individuals with certain aspects and attributes pertaining to a certain species, often that individual's more favored animal. :)

Well, I like werewolves. I think they're cute, because they have fur.
As for vampires, there's only one I really like, and that's the King of the Vampires, Dracula. He's hot!

I have always wanted to be a werewolf. It would be the best of both worlds. But I would like to have control over my changing (when, where, how) Yeah vampires are cool,too!

Being a true vampyre, I've got to say, I prefer the mythological vampires.... They are based on facts and fears... Lycans are based more on fear than fact.

hmmm i think vampires would be better off as clean and gentlemen like monsters, then if they got the heart of the humans they'd start biting them wit poise :D
