Allot of unknowns that give trusts to hospitals for people who cannot pay( that is a very frequent thing)
Paul Newman?
Oprah?
Allot that do not want to be named.
Also Doctors that do free surgeries for the poor around the world.
God Bless them all.Their reward will be good.
Probable we would be very surprised how many there are.

I am unclear of your premise, if you are referring to contributions to the poor. Hands down is Bill Gates he has contributed by far the most of his fortune to help others world wide.

I think most give a lot to foundations and such for public image and tax reasons, but I would tend to think a real liberal would not be a billionaire - it would be a bit of a paradox.
